From the founder

Burned out, depressed, and unable to focus for more than 5 minutes

Three years ago I was on sick leave feeling so incredibly exhausted, in full depression, and couldn't sit down to work for more than 5 minutes. I still had a master's thesis to write. Some days, graduating felt impossible.

Working only 20 hours a week, I accidentally taught myself (through science) to get into flow state every day to write my thesis. Within weeks my mental health improved and the fog started to disappear. I finished the thesis 5 months later.

I got the highest grade. And was invited to publish my study in a scientific journal 😳

Our neurodivergent brain really isn't the problem. We just have to create a new way of working. That's why I'm creating Heron — to make it so freaking easy for us to do deep work without burning out 👏👏

How Heron works

A daily ritual that guides your brain into deep focus

Get into flow every day
A ritual built from 600+ flow sessions and the latest neuroscience
Heron guides you into the flow state every day using a 4-phase ND flow ritual designed specifically for ADHD and autistic brains. It's built from my own experience putting myself into flow over 600 times — and the latest flow and neuroscience. Every single step has been validated by a peer-reviewed study on neurodivergent brains.
On your hardest days
Feeling too overwhelmed to even begin? Heron starts there too.
If you arrive anxious, shut down, or on the edge of a meltdown — Heron doesn't ask you to push through. It guides you through regulation first, meeting your nervous system exactly where it is, until flow becomes possible. Even your worst days can become your most focused ones.
Built on science
People in flow are...
16%

Less likely to be diagnosed with anxiety or depression

Gaston et al., 2024
500%

More productive in the flow state

Harvard Business Review

Less likely to experience burnout symptoms

Aust et al., 2022
Do you recognise?

Why can't I just focus and get it done?

We can focus. Our brains are just in overdrive, making it really hard. Because most workplaces, schools and universities just aren't designed to support our busy brain.

Our brain feels fried by 2pm, even though it feels like we barely did anything
We barely get through the week without crashing, and spend the whole weekend recovering, just to do it all over again on Monday
We can't focus for more than 10 minutes before our mind wanders, or starts "overthinking"
We begin to question if work really is worth it, if it has to feel this exhausting
We only get things done when we feel the urgency of the deadline hanging over us
We cycle through burnout at least once a year — if it doesn't feel like a chronic state

It's not a you problem. Our brain just craves a new way of working, that actually supports it.
